Bandian Dargaz exposes one of the fire temples of the Sassanid period. In the hall of this fire temple, the events of the war between Bahram V and King Heptali are displayed through bedrocked motifs. There are various scenes that have been shown in successive motifs since Bahram V left Ctesiphon to fight the Heptali king.
The above beds have been studied and researched based on historical texts. In addition to the bedding motifs, the Sassanid Pahlavi inscriptions on the wall of the silver altar of the fire temple have also introduced some motifs. This fire temple, which was built during the reign of Yazdgerd I and during the reign of Bahram V, was developed to create bed designs that show his victory over the Heptalians. This fire temple was destroyed by the Heptali at the time of the victory. Therefore, only a part of the lower part of the beds is left.
In an article, the author's opinions about some of the characters in this bed are criticized. The author believes that the authors of this article did not have the necessary care in matching the designs with some historical events. The first scene seen in the beds is related to Bahram V.
