Geographically, Nehbandan includes the two southern parts of theNehbandan Plain and the northern and western parts of the highlands and the mid-mountainous valley of Chahar Farsakh. It has played an important role in cultural, social and economic exchanges. The analysis of settlement patterns is one of the conventional methods for understanding cultural and environmental changes, which investigates various natural and cultural phenomena and the role of each in residential and livelihood methods, and analyzes the settlement/habitat pattern of the area in question. Research helps. Archaeological studies show that the location of the settlements of Dasht Neh and Chaharfarsakh Valley in the Parthian and Sasanian periods was based on natural factors and the way of communication with cultural factors. The settlements of this period are mostly sites of the historical era, and there is no news of settlements before and after that in these sites. Studying and analyzing the settlement patterns of the sites of the historical period of the region and the relationship between the sites of this era in the Nah Plain with the surrounding area in the studied time period is the main goal of this research, which is descriptive-analytical, based on library and field studies and It is also the use of software analysis.
