Abstract

Shahr-i- Sokhtah, with a large amount of cultural data, has a special importance and position compared to other sites of the third millennium BC in the Iranian plateau; Because the abundance of works obtained from it, it has suitable study resources for examining the performance and mentality of man in this millennium of facing many issues in the production of various industries such as textile that facing today. One of the ways to prove this claim is by examining the types of textiles obtained from this area, which by taking the types of fibers and techniques of weaving, along with the tools obtained from this process, the narration of their nobles in dealing with creative performance in It is the use of tools and how to produce textile. Examining the obtained tools and the data related to those, such as the Shahr-i- Sokhtah’s textiles, helps a lot in understanding part of the culture of these people in the third millennium BC; The present field research also with a descriptive-comparative approach, the most representative samples of woven textiles with various techniques were obtained with the help of morphological images, tables and diagrams, along with their comparative comparison in terms of appearance and correct use with the obtained tools, examines, describes and compares similar examples today, which in retelling as clearly as possible from drawing a part of the daily life of the Bronze Age man, as an artist-craftsman, in the field of textile industry, revives the recognition of that time period.
