All articles must be submitted electronically through the journal's online submission system. The submission process must be carried out directly by the corresponding author; submissions via email or through a third party/intermediary will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Access: Researchers must visit the journal's website, register, and upload their manuscript according to the author guidelines. The correct submission pathway is solely through the journal's management system.
Creating an Account: If this is your first submission, the corresponding author must create a new user account. The journal recommends that authors use their ORCID iD or obtain one during the registration process.
Submission Files: During the process, the author must upload five main files. Ensure that the main manuscript file is completely anonymized to comply with the double‑blind peer review policy.
Acknowledgment: After a successful submission, an automated confirmation email containing the manuscript ID will be sent to the author. This ID must be used in all subsequent correspondence.
Initial Evaluation: The manuscript is first reviewed by the Editor‑in‑Chief for suitability with the journal's scope and compliance with policies. This stage takes approximately 10 days. If the manuscript does not align with the journal's aims, it will be rejected at this stage.
Peer Review: If approved in the initial stage, the manuscript enters the peer‑review process. The average review time is 8 weeks. The final decision is made by the editors based on the reports of at least two independent reviewers. Please note that this journal is highly selective, with an acceptance rate of 21%.
Revision: If revision (minor or major) is required, the reviewers' comments are sent to the author. The author is required to respond to all comments and upload the revised version through the system.
Final Decision and Publication: Upon acceptance, the manuscript enters the production stage. Authors will be asked to complete a publication agreement.
If a manuscript is deemed unsuitable for publication in this journal, the Editor‑in‑Chief may offer to transfer it to a more appropriate alternative journal. If the author agrees, the manuscript file along with any existing review reports will be transferred to the destination journal to expedite the review process there.
