belonging to the seventh century of the rule of Abu Saied Bahadur, governor of Illkhani, were explored. 25 coins as the subject of this study were selected for analytical study. We followed two basic steps according to coin studies:The first stage is related to coin-surface studies, which included the identification of elements on the surface of the coin, including the weight and size, and figures. The aim of this stage is to obtain the information of the symbolic motifs on the coins and the geographical location of the mint and classification. Finally, the study of types of coins with accurate technical and technical insights was done, considering geographic position of the mint. Regarding the weight of the coins, the data derived from the weighing and measurements of the dimensions of this set indicate that these coins were produced in the era of Abu Saied by a certain weighted standard. Differences in weight and variety in the form and symbols indicates there was no formal pattern for coins, and as a result, their form and appearance is influenced by the political and economic issues of the rule of Abu Saeid. The second stage of these studies is to identify the elements of the coin metal, and for this reason an element analysis with using experimental methods was done. Using Pixy Method, which is a powerful and non-destructive method for analyzing ancient specimens, we tried to obtain data based on elemental components of metal.
