Two factors have contributed to the maintenance of the relative health of the old city: relatively low rainfall and low relative humidity on the one hand, and the lack of destructive earthquakes on the other. The quarter of Jobareh (or Jubara) has a brilliant history as the oldest quarter in the city of Esfahan. The mosque is the main core of the city of Esfahan, and its oldest residential quarter dates back to the Achaemenid period; it is reknowned for the centrality of the establishment of the Jewish community there. This quarter was famous for its Jewish population from the beginning of Islam until the fifth century AH. During the Seljuk period, this quarter was located adjacent to important monuments, including the mosque and the Seljuk and market complex, and the city square. This paper tries to answer the following questions: what was the impact of the Jobareh quarter on the formation and growth of the city of Esfahan in the early Islamic centuries and what was the role of the Jews as its native and primary inhabitants in the formation of this historic quarter? The research method used in this study is descriptive–analytical, based on archaeological data including archaeological sites, cultural sites and all monuments ranging from pre-Islamic times to the Safavid period. According to the arguments presented in this paper, one can conclude that one of the most important centers of Esfahan for immigrant Arabs was the Jubara quarter, with the Arabs living in this quarter and with its growing prosperity, it became an important quarter; as time went on, it became larger than the Jay quarter, and the throne of Esfahan was thus transferred from Jay to Judea.}, keywords = {Isfahan,Jubra,Historical changes,masjid-e-jame,Islamic era}, title_fa = {جایگاه محله جوباره در تحولات تاریخی و تأثیر آن بر بافت شهر اصفهان}, abstract_fa = {اصفهان یکی از شهرهایی است که علیرغم فراز و نشیب‌هایش همچنان قسمت‌هایی از بافت تاریخی آن نسبتاً سالم مانده است. دو عامل اقلیمی کمی بارش و پایین بودن رطوبت نسبی از طرفی و عدم وقوع زلزله‌های مخرب از طرف دیگر عواملی هستند که در سالم ماندن نسبی بافت قدیمی شهر بسیار مؤثر بوده‌اند. انتخاب محله جوباره از این نظر اهمیت دارد که به عنوان قدیمی‌ترین محله شهر اصفهان و یکی از مراکز مهم جمعیتی از پیشینۀ درخشان برخوردار است. جوباره اصلی‌ترین هسته اولیه شهر اصفهان و قدیمی‌ترین محله مسکونی آن است که قدمت آن بر اساس متون به دورۀ هخامنشی می‌رسد و مرکزیت استقرار یهودیان در آنجا بوده است. این محله از صدر اسلام تا قرن پنجم هجری به یهودیه معروف بوده است. در دوران سلجوقی این محله مرکزیتی خاص یافت و درست در مجاورت بناهای مهمی از جمله مسجد جامع و مجموعه دولت‌خانه سلجوقی و بازار و میدان شهر قرار گرفت. در این مقاله به دنبال پاسخ به پرسش‌های شامل: تأثیر محله جوباره در شکل‌گیری و رشد و گسترش شهر اصفهان در قرون اولیه اسلامی و نقش یهودیان به عنوان ساکنان بومی و اولیه آن در شکل‌گیری این محلۀ تاریخی هستیم. روش تحقیق به کار گرفته‌شده در این پژوهش از نوع توصیفی- تحلیلی است که بر اساس ابنیه و آثار موجود در بافت تاریخی این محدوده و شواهد موجود تاریخی و گزارش‌های مندرج در متون در بازه زمانی قبل از اسلام تا دورۀ صفوی است. با توجه به استدلال‌های ارائه‌شده در مقاله می‌توان نتیجه گرفت یکی از مهم‌ترین مراکز اصفهان در پذیرش اعراب مهاجر، محلۀ جوباره بوده است. با سکونت اعراب در این محله و رونق روز افزون آن جوباره به شکل یک محله با اهمیت در آمد و با گذشت زمان از محلۀ جی، آبادتر و بزرگ‌تر شد و بدین ترتیب تختگاه اصفهان از جی به یهودیه (جوباره) انتقال یافت.}, keywords_fa = {Isfahan,Jubra,Historical changes,masjid-e-jame,Islamic era}, url = {https://jarcs.ut.ac.ir/article_83722.html}, eprint = {https://jarcs.ut.ac.ir/article_83722_c5f708ca1dfc279ba9786a0000856b81.pdf} }
