In particular, it has been attempted to determine the development of Islamic cities in Sistan region and to study their changes during the Islamic era based on the archaeological records. It has also been tried to analyze the functionalities of the major cities of Sistan during the early Islamic period.   The results of this research indicate that the capital of Sistan region has moved during Islamic era to be centered in the various cities and the cities such as Zaranj, Shahr-e Sistan, Shahr-e Sistan-e Nou, Jalal-Abaad, Kondark, Sekooheh and Shahr-e Naseri, were in turn appointed as the governmental centres of Sistan during Islamic era in the stated order.      }, keywords = {: Sistan Plain,Archaeology of South-Eastern Iran,Islamic cities,Spatial Archaeology,Hirmand and Hamoon}, title_fa = {سیستان در دوران اسلامی با اتکاء بر شواهد باستان‌شناسی}, abstract_fa = {بهرغم وسعت چشمگیرسیستان و شرایط تمدنساز دلتای هیرمند، اطلاعات اندکی از تمدن‌های کهن این سرزمیندر دست است. اگرچه محوطههای غنی و کمنظیر شهر سوخته، دهانهغلامان و کوه خواجههریک اطلاعات ارزشمندی از پیشازتاریخ و دوران تاریخی ایران را در اختیار می‌گذارند،تاکنون محوطهای که بتوان از آن در مطالعات باستان‌شناسانه دوران اسلامی سیستانبهره گرفت، شناسایی و معرفی نشده است. به این دلیل، در پژوهش حاضر سعی شده است تا ضمنمطالعة توزیع فضایی و گاهنگاری محوطههای اسلامی دشت سیستان، شهرهای شاخص دوراناسلامی این دشت معرفی و اطلاعات ارزشمندی از توزیع مکانی محوطههای اسلامی این ناحیه حاصل شود ونیز ارتباطات فضایی و کنش و برهمکنش درون و برونمنطقهای آنها تحلیل گردد. بدینمنظور، تمامی اطلاعات مربوط به شهرهای دوران اسلامی سیستان از لابهلای اسناد،منابع و متون تاریخی استخراج و با به‌کارگیری آنها در تفسیر دادهها و اطلاعاتباستانشناختی (رهیافت تاریخی)، نسبت به بازشناسی و تعیین محل آنها اقدام گردیدهاست. همچنین با بهرهگیری از تحلیل GIS محوطههای اسلامی، به بررسی تأثیر منابع زیست ـ محیطی در چیدمان اینمحوطهها پرداخته شده است. نتایج مطالعات حاضر روشن ساخت که در دوران اسلامی بهترتیب شهرهای: «زرنگ» (زرنج)، «شهر سیستان»، «شهر نوسیستان»، «جلالآباد»،«کندرک»، «سهکوهه» و «شهر ناصری» به مرکزیت سیستان انتخاب شدهاند}, keywords_fa = {باستان‌شناسی جنوب شرق ایران,شهرهای اسلامی سیستان,استقرارهای اسلامی,هیرمند و هامون}, url = {https://jarcs.ut.ac.ir/article_50396.html}, eprint = {https://jarcs.ut.ac.ir/article_50396_bf7a4b5439976ed9431ab80d237cb0de.pdf} }
